Reisner Corporation offers 8 specific marketing programs to meet your business
needs
This program is the most commonly used for low volume or occasional accumulations of scrap. This program is also appropriate for a plant cleanout, demolition, or simply a one-time sealed bid arrangement. We provide you with a bid to purchase all scrap materials based upon industry published indexes on the day of shipment. This insures that you will receive fair market pricing.
Designed for all manufacturers, this is the most commonly used program. We provide you with the necessary container(s) for collection and segregation. Just call us for pickup when a container is full. Materials are then weighed and a lot number is assigned. All prices are as of shipment date based on daily industry published indexes. This insures that you will receive fair market pricing.
While the Fixed and Perpetual Purchase programs provide you with immediate income, the Market Index program enables you to take advantage of rising market conditions. Materials are taken into our operation on memo, less handling, and a nominal storage fee. YOU then make the decision when to sell the materials.
Due to our ability to maintain high volume purchase agreements with the mills, the Ship Direct program eliminates additional handling costs associated with removing materials to our facility. This savings, coupled with combined shipments from our facility, usually results in higher premiums for your scrap materials.
With this program you sell your scrap materials back to your supplier for credit. We collect, process, and ship direct to your supplier for handling costs only. The Mill Return program is beneficial during periods of material shortage or allocation quotas.
The Commodity program gives you the opportunity to sell your materials months in advance. The objective is to stabilize the price of scrap for many manufacturers who have an exceedingly high percentage of waste in their operations and products. This program improves cash flow and reduces scrap market fluctuations and finished goods pricing changes.
Tolling is an age-old concept. With the Toll House program, our services are split into categories, such as scrap management consulting, shipping (both truck and rail), processing and handling, as well as brokerage. The generator maintains complete control over scrap decisions while renting only the required services.
Networking is the key word in this program. Designed to serve larger manufactures by combining their scrap material with other affiliated companies that may sub-contract work, share a joint venture, strategic alliance, or partnership. By pooling generated scrap with multiple parties, a larger volume is created, and a reduced operating cost is achieved. Combined with market timing under favorable conditions, the co-op program can be a powerful tool.
Note: Limitations may apply due to changing market, materials, segregation, and mill locations .
